P + C
I have known P for many years through mutual business friends, and I was so chuffed when she asked me to shoot her beautifully relaxed and intimate wedding down south. I was actually about 11 weeks pregnant at the time and I was SO unwell.
I had the biggest snack bag you’ve ever seen, which was shared among vendors as often is the case!
I was lucky enough to stay down there for the weekend and I got to be there to celebrate with the couple and their family the night before the wedding, and then start off bright and early to spend the day and evening with them on their big day.
It feels really immersive, and I loved being part of all the celebrations.

It rained constantly on the day of the wedding. Relentlessly. I was drenched from head to toe. Though miraculously, it stopped in time for the ceremony AND gave us the most delicious (rain free) sunset by the ocean.

Some of my favourite moments captured as the sun went down and we made our way slowly back to the car.
P’s dress was drenched, her shoes were full of sand and we were very glad she had a second dress for the reception!

And then the party started.
Underneath a clear Marquee and hundreds of fairylights.
