I am.

There was before and after.

I am still finding the new parts, which are also the old parts.
Does that make sense?

I am not myself, and also I am more. myself than ever before.

I am evolving.

My own ‘I AM’ shoot was a self portrait session. For me, it felt right to do this in my own little backyard. I wanted to keep it super simple, so I strung up a piece of cotton, I waited for the sun to hit the deck, and I just moved in front of the camera for a little while.

I painted my brows, because I wanted to look like me, but also not like me - because these days when I look in the mirror, it’s not ‘exactly’ the same person I see looking back that I used to see. My body has changed, my mind has shifted and my heart has grown. Some days I wake up and feel strong, resilient and ‘me’ and other days I feel so incredibly vulnerable, unsure and a little bit new to this world, but still ‘me’.

The I AM series is really really important to me, and I am so happy to be working with some beautiful humans again, and sharing it with you all too.
